Just tracked this down, Colin. Dead impressed. Not sure about Teenage Fanclub being best Scottish band. Nice wee tunes, though. I saw them doing 'Ballad Of John And Yoko' at The Barralands some years ago with one of their mum's in the audience: a curious thing. But Alex Harvey doing Brel's 'Next'! Now that's what I call music!
The site is great!

Well travelled poems Mr Begg, I thoroughly enjoyed them. Look forward to returning to your site and seeing more from you the more you write.
Now get on with it!!

Hey boyz - love the website, very user friendly, even for an old luddite like me. I like the colours of Scotland - sand, aubergine, sea, moss and earth. I also liked telling the arrow to 'go fetch'. Poems - great idea to have them displayed by title only in the first instance. This is stangely revealing about the reader - I chose Femme Fatale and This single life straight off the bat, not that I am a femme fatale or, indeed, single. Or a spider. Then I got distracted by the wobbly iris which moves with mouse and had a good old play with that for several minutes. Anyway, go on ya weejie chancers, I wish you well on your crusade for wildness and beauty. What can you tell me about Louis MacNeice (apart from Bagpipe Music)? And, Colin, T S Eliot only has one t at the end (no I won't mention it to Michael). Good luck! Trish

Congratulations on your new venture. I haven't looked at all the poetry yet (because one really shouldn't rush these things, and i am waiting till i have more time), however, i did smile at 'Superstition'.
Browsing the LINKS page, i have to say i think there is one missing.
If Teenage Fancub is the best band to come out of Scotland, then you haven't listened to enough Trashcan Sinatras. Better by far - in a substantial, emotional, melodic and qualitative way.
I know what men can be like about their musical allegiances, so it's unlikely i have changed your mind, but perhaps trashcansinatras.com could be added to the links page?!
Best wishes,
K8
